Military Help With Pain?

I believe the military has done a lot for us who have Chronic Pain. Many men and women have had injuries that last a life time while in the line of duty. They know this and step in and "invent" new meds and "things" that relieve Chronic Pain. I've just heard this off the corner of my ear. Maybe someone else knows more.
