You should check with your surgeon to see if your pain is normal. Are you due for a follow-up exam?

It can take up to 8 weeks before the worst of the pain goes away and you reallly need to be careful to not overdo it! Take it easy, don't pick things up off the floor and take the meds your doctor gave you if you need them. I had a hyster in decemberand it was quite a while before the major twinges went away. Remember that just because you are starting to look healed on the outside there are a LOT of stitches inside that still need to heal!

In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency to treat children as adults, and adults as children. The options of children are thus steadily expanded, while those of adults are progressively constricted. The result is unruly children and childish adults. ~Thomas Szasz
