As we near the end of the month, and for many of us Daylight Savings time ends soon, the end of the year is fast approaching. If you're like many of us you always seem to have a list of things you want to get done, but that list just seems to grow and grow. Let's just tackle a single item. What's one thing that you hope to do or accomplish before the end of this year?

I must admit I'm having trouble narrowing it down to just ONE...Oh, my gosh this is hard. OK, let me try. OK, um, I have so darn many things going that choosing one is impossible so that should tell me something right there. By the end of the year I am going to try to slow myself down and hopefully reduce my pain level some by doing so. I've always had one speed...Mach 'something'. I still try to keep that pace now and then and pay for it always. Unfortunately it affects those around me also. So, in all fairness to me and them I need to learn to rest this body and pace myself. But, I am going to finish a quilt that's for my 'extra Mom'. idea

Well I have been feeling better lately so I have been doing a little more sewing. So by the end of the year, I hope to get more sewing done and maybe make some of my Christmas presents this year. I used to do that every year, but as the years went by and as my fibro got worse and worse, I had all but given up that notion of making my presents. Hopefully, this year will be different. We will see.

Everybody have a wonderful low pain day, ya hear??

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.
