I found a site dedicated to Cronic Pain Hypnosis.

The art of life is the art of avoiding pain; and he is the best pilot, who steers clearest of the rocks and shoals with which it is beset.

I tried hypnosis once & it didn't do anything for me, but I think it was partly because I didn't care for the practitioner. I am curious to listen to some of these, but I can't get them to download on my computer!

I can't download these right now.
I have used Hypnosis in the past. Especially when I first came down with Chronic Pain and
really did not think I could survive it.
It helped immensely then. I just have CD's.
There's nothing scary about it.
I used to put my daycare kids to sleep all at the same time with a form of hypnosis.
Twelve preschoolers all snoozing away at nap time. (No easy trick!)
It's merely a way of using your voice in a soft, powerful way.
Your mind goes to the voice, and you ... go to sleep or feel less pain.
It never worked for me for weight loss.
But hmmmmm.....I'm not 400 pounds or anything so perhaps it did.

Now I got to the point where I can reach the session & listen to it online, but I can't download it.

I know of excellent sites, also, but I've not posted links to them because even though I don't have any monetary connection, I think that Healing Well is supported when we go through the Healing Well resource link. The founder of this site, Peter Waite, also gives us this site for free, so anytime you can go through a resource, try to access it through Healing Well.
