I usually post in the Crohn's forum, but I'm wondering if anyone knows something about this.

If I get an itch on my leg for example, and then I scratch it... I get a really bad pain there like someone punched me. I am not scratching particularly hard, heh. Sometimes it lasts for a minute or two before fading. Sometimes I'll get what looks like a blood filled bruise but doesn't hurt and isn't pressure sensitive. Any ideas?

It happens more sometimes than others and more on specific parts of my body such as inner thigh.

Crohn's (dx 2006), severe migraines, Seborrheic Derm., Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (1994), ulcers/GERD and possibly Fibromyalgia? Medications: Nexium, Pentasa, Cymbalta, Xysal, Yaz, Percocet or Vicodin as needed, Flintstone Vitamins (my favorite part!), vitamin D once weekly.

I have gotten this before but it has not bothered me enough to question it before. Sometimes I scratch an area of my skin and it feels bruised underneath the skin. Don't know why but it usually goes away pretty soon, the same day even.

As always, if it bothers you too much, go see a physician.

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.
