OK ... So I'm up worrying my head off.

Anybody ever have a bone scan? Yes, I've looked it up but I want to hear
from a real people.

I need to go to one of those sleep schools. It's 3:09 AM - a little early
for me but I'm going to try. Yes, I sleep some in the day ~ but not much.

I had one over a year ago....they thought I had osteomyelitis, it was actually easier then an MRI. There are usually 2 sets of on one day and then 24 hours later.

Hi Pam, Yes I had one after cancer to make sure nothing moved to my bones. Nothing to it! They inject you w/ some stuff, I can't quite remember but I think it's radioactive stuff. I don't remember but I think they use one of those CT scans which are cake! Good Luck!
56 years old, Surgury, Radical Prostatectomy 8/20/03, PSA 6.6, Gleason 3 + 3 = 6, Adenocarcinoma extent (moderate) Stage & Margin:T2NOMX, No Metastases, Organ Confined, bone scan: Neg. 3 1/2 years of depression after surgery prior to Hypogonadizm DX, Testosterone Theropy> new 2/6/09> 400mg injections every 2weeks . 56 and so glad to still be here to see my two sons grow up to be fine young men. They are both serving in the US Navy, one on the aircraft carrier USS John Stennis in port in Japan and the other on a Gator Freighter USS Bataan stationed in Norfolk, Va. I am one proud PaPa!

My pain doctor has been so busy talking up the pain pump that he's neglected to
ask where I hurt. When I showed him it was my upper arm/shoulder that was
in pain, he just panicked and started talking about ordering all these tests. He
doesn't trust doctors and so he's sending me to his own internist, a cardiologist.
What made the doctors think you had osteomyelitis?

Thank you for your quick response. What a marvel to post a question and just
a short time later have an answer from real people.
