Not real well as of late kara. It seems that I'm only getting about 4 hours a night as well (on a good night). There is however a side note here....if I don't eat anything a couple of hours before I take it seems to work a little better so you might wanna try that. What strength do they have you on?

hmmm its possible that the Lunesta just isn't enough. I'm afraid that I have taken it for so long that it isn't working any longer for me. But it should work on you...but perhaps you need something stronger. 3mg is the max amount too. Too bad it didn't work hun.

Kara,
Maybe you were hungry? You mentioned that you
hadn't had anything to eat since noon.

I take Lunesta (2 mg) when I need to get sleep. Sometimes the opiods keep me awake. The big advantage I see for Lunesta is that it doesn't have a "hangover" in the morning like other sleeping aids both Rx and OTC. I does sneak up on me, however. I never take it until I am ready for sleep. Hope this helps. Remember that getting a good night's sleep is one of the first tools in managing chronic pain. Most pain management meds will be more effective if one is well rested.
