All u can do is call your pharmacy. they might do it since it's not some kind of a pain med. I hope they can fill it for u...The only thing that Flexeril ever did for me was make me sleepy...At least then I could sleep through some of the pain...Good Luck Kara, I hope Thursday gets here very fast....

Kara, I take flexaril at bedtime and my Doc gives me a script for 3 refills which the pharm holds. They are not like narcotics which you have only one script at a time. I think the pharm may help you out and give you a partial with them. It doesn't hurt to ask! Good luck Little Sister!

Kara
I would think think they would be able to do that, you will just have to check with your Pharmacy to find out. I never liked Flexeril! it always made me feel loopy! and I hate that feeling! and it never really done anything else for me! I take Baclofen for muscle spasms and that does work for me! But everyone is so different and medications affect everyone differently!

Kara it isnt a problem unless insurance is involved but remember the less you fill the more it costs pill by pill so sometimes it would cost more to fill half then to fill the whole thing. Crazy isnt it?

Kara I dont have any idea where you live but dont some of the pharmacies in your area have the $4 for 30 days supply or $12 for 90? Flexeril is old enough and cheap enough it is on the list I have for Meyer's in my area. What I have found about this deal is they dont always tell you those drugs that fall into this category eyes   In other words if you dont ask they let you pay the regular amount for it.

I know $23 doesnt sound like much unless you dont have it and many a days I dont have 23 cents!

I use to take the zanaflex and really got good results but I found that after my last knee-replacement when I took it and it relaxed the muscles in my knee it became really unstable and I stumbled alot so off of that I went as I sure didnt need to be falling and breaking anything. I probably have used flexeril at some point in my lfe and I know folks who take it religiously and love it.

I am glad to see you doing some better and at least your getting those meds even if it is one at a time. This life is ridiculous for us sometimes isnt it?

I got a sort of survey thing from SS asking me if I could please tell them how I planned to use my one time stimulus payment of $250 we are expected to get sometime in May. It was almost a joke and I responded that sorry to say mine wouldnt do much for stimulating the economy and would most likley go to everyday bills that had fallen behind when the heating bill exceeded  the amount of my SSD check during the winter and I was still trying to pay that off! I cant imagine what they think we are going to spend it on, let's face it during these times and prices it sure wont buy many clothes, nor a new T.V. it may buy the new HDTV boxes and antena's required to watch normal television in our veiwing area and it wont even pay the deposit on a satellite nor deposit and one month up front of cable (required) by Time Warner our only option here! So I may not be watching tele after June and already have lost 3 local channels.

Oh well just another expense to try to pay out of my pittance of a disability check. LOl
