I have just been diagnosed with PVNS in my right ankle. I have surgery in about two weeks. I have had a chronic issue with my right ankle since 9th grade, meaning thats been almost 12 yrs. I have chronic flare-up where at least month I experience extreme pain/discomfort. I'm not able to walk on it. Anyone has any information regarding this? Any bits would help?

Thanks

Hi, Groovygirl (neat name!),
Welcome to the chronic pain forum of Healing Well. I don't know anything about PVNS, but hopefully someone will come along who does. I do understand pain and surgery, though.

This is a great group for support, although we're not doctors. You mght try searching the old threads and see if there's any information on PVNS.

Wish I could help more. Again, welcome.
