Hi Everybody,

For the last 9 years I have been searching for a pillow that would let me sleep comfortably since the Cervical Fusion Surgery!

I have spent so much money its ridiculous!  I feel like baby bear, ones too soft, ones too hard, the other hits me in the wrong spot and so on!  The most I've spent is on 2 (close to $300) different Tempurpedics, they do make nice chair ornaments though!

On Friday, I took my 99.5 yr old Granny to get a new Walker at CVS Pharmacy and they had a Mediflow Waterbase Fiber Pillow.  You fill it with Water, push out all the air, the firmness is adjusted by the amount of water you put in it.  Its insulated so when you fill it with warm water, it holds the heat so you don't go into shock when you lay on it.

We have a knock off Tempurpedic mattress topper that we love, but the pillow challenge has negated any happy feelings for me.  Well, I've used the pillow 3 nights now and it is very comfortable, the fiber stuffing gives support and the water allows your neck a comfortable feel.

It was $39.99, has a 90 day money back guarantee and a 3 yr. warranty!

Its tax deductible too, if you get a prescription from your PM Dr.   Go to mediflow.com for more info!

I have been using the water pillow for 8 years and I won't go anywhere without. I love it!!! It comes hightly recommended by several therapists and doctors.

Edt,
I have a memory foam pillow but one that's combined with gel. NOT the tempurpedic ones - although I have their mattress. Got the pillows free, used them one night and that was it. No support at all. But the tempurpedic with gel (it was really hard to find) is great and lasts a long time, but it is expensive - around $80. If it goes I may try a water pillow, especially if I can send it back. I also find trying pillows via QVC or HSN is great because you can send them back in 30 days and most places won't let you return pillows.

Like you, I have a supply all over the house and on my closet shelves of all types! LOL

PALady, The tempurpedic with Gel sounds AWESOME....if this one fails me later on, I'll be trying to find one of those.....its a joke in my house, when we have guests they get their pick of odd shaped pillows. lol

Patti,

That is wonderful news that you found a great pillow (and that it is tax deductible, too)! Sounds like things are finally starting to go your way! smilewinkgrin You deserve nothing less! Thanks for sharing!

I also have been searching for a good pillow for myself and my son. He was complaining the other day about his pillow being too flat..LOL
