Not sure where the days have gone but we're almost at the middle of May and heading for the weekend already. Before you know it we'll have the holidays upon us, and not just Memorial Day but the ones in November and December sshhhhh, OK, I'll retract that last one. I am still not ready for the last holiday

I know that for all of us, just getting through some days is very difficult. I talking of pain and misery. So, there has to be some goodness in each day, even if we have to look for it. And it IS worth looking for. I am working on noticing the small and wondrous things about each day. Not always easy and I forget some days but one time of day I love and that's bed time. The house is finally quiet! I get online and post our Koffee Klatch for the next morning and then snuggle under the covers with a good book and my sweet hubby. It's a time when I refuse to think of the things that have been worrying me. Otherwise I'll never get to sleep. But over time I've made it a habit to think of good things and enjoy fun books at bedtime. So, what is your very favorite part of your day?

I love summer, my favorite time of the day is when I get home at night, the crickets are so loud, it has a calming effect over me. I sit out on the deck and just listen and breath. I have a bat that likes to fly around at dusk. I just watch him, hopefully he wont get stuck in my hair LOL Our family likes to go camping and I love campfires. I sit out there and roast marshallows and relax under the moonlight by myself. Everyone is usually sleeping as always. CP likes late nights. Summers here are way too short. cshelp

My favorite time of day is "me" time. That is the time that I get to do whatever I want. And usually it is reading, or getting on the computer. I like it quiet, no noise of any kind. I don't get these moments very often except lately when everyone is gone. I treasure the nice quiet times to do nothing!! It is usually relaxing and refreshing for me. And if I am not reading or on the computer, I'll just sit/lie and concentrate on breathing and relaxing. Alot of people I know have to have some kind of noise. I have heard enough noise to last a lifetime. I love quiet. I guess I should have worked in a library vs. pediatric office!!!lol idea Anice

My favorite time of the day is the morning, after I shake off the night stiffness.  My 13.5 yr old lab Cinder and I sit in the family room together.  After she has had enough belly scratches she lays down by my feet and I read, breath, relax and am thankful for a new day!  There is no other time of the day I love more!

I am a morning person.  I almost never wake with pain.  Morning comes with hope.  I get up very early and have to have some me time.  I read the news on the computer.  The dogs hang out with me.  It is so nice to just be.  I love the dawn as it comes in through the windows.

Hello, I am new to the Chronic Pain part of the Healingwell site.  I was reading the posts in Thursday Koffee Klatch~ just wanted to say that MY favourite time of the day is the time when my children are laughing and playing and enjoying life without any worries!
I am a 34 year old Mom of  6 and 3 year old boys, and step-mom of 14, and 16 year old boys.
I love to see them happy and playing!  The glow of their happiness seems to help "ease" the pain if ,ya get what I mean...
( I am currently going thru tests for RA, and have been recently told that the doctors are going to give me meds for chronic pain as I hurt all the time, more in the rain and cold)
((gentle hugs)) hope all have a great day
