Happy Monday to all. Please join us whether you are new, from another forum or an old timer. We love having everyone join in for this small portion of our day that we only talk of fun or interesting things and NO talk of the 'P' smhair

This question is giving me some real think time so here goes. Describe feeling special. Special here is used in a good sense as in when someone treats you in a loving way and makes you feel happy and good about yourself. For me it's hard to describe but Ill try. For me I think this is one time it will be very short. Feeling special for me is someone I love being totally with me. I'm thinking of my hubby in this case but when he takes my hand, walks with me just to enjoy my company or listens with care when I have something to share with him...those things make me feel special since he's focusing his attention entirely on me for a short while. In essence it is giving his time to me and time is our most precious commodity.

What does feeling special mean to you?

If you ask what is the single most important key to longevity, I would have to say it is avoiding worry, stress and tension. And if you didn't ask me, I'd still have to say it.

Chutzie, This one is a biggie!!! I had to really think about it for several minutes...I feel special when my husband makes me a hot bubble bath and lights candles in the bathroom. He fixes me a diet coke and sets on the side of the tub. He puts a towel and washcloth out.Sometimes, he puts on soft music. This makes me feel special. It's like he went the extra step to make me feel special. I have also felt special when people here post back to me-it's like it feels special to me to know someone cares about me and how I am doing.

My husband always make me feel special. But I will change this one up.

My chidren make me feel special. On occasions lately I will come home and they have done extra chores to make it easier on me. When there both together (they fight alot, 15 and 16) they make dinner for us. If they think I'm hurting or just tired they will put there heads together to find a way to get something done than I won't have to do it.

Then last week when it was a good day they took me to play putt putt gulf.....

Hear little giggles at the foot of my bed
doze back to sleep
more giggles
feet tickled
more giggles
"GooOOood morning Mommy!!"
"Mommy can we have pancakes and sausages?"
Waking up, here?
Makes me feel very very special.
 Even in really tuff times.

And sorry I could not travel both
