I know this is off topic and I hope Y'all will forgive me but my wife and I are so excited and I just have to share my good news w/ my other family!! Our barn is going up in the feild below our house. The framework is up and the guys are pouring concrete this a.m.
As some of you know, my wife has two horses which are presently staying down the road from us at a friends place. Even though she is a good friend, the board for them is sky-high and with me not working anymore we just can't aford to throw that $$$ away anymore. So we figured the barn would pay for itself even though it will take a while.
I am paying the price for what I did yesterday which has me a wreck again. We need to electrify our fence before the horses come and w/ the barn going up so fast, I descided to put up all the insulators for the electric wire yesterday. Yes, I did them all, around aprox 31/2 acres! It's not a big deal for a normal person but anyone who swings a hammer enough (WhiteBeard & his famous porch!) knows what the shock of using a hammer can do to you if you have cervical, lumbar & shoulder problems. I had a really bad night last night and didn't sleep much even taking two muscle relaxers and double Oxi dose (OK'ed by PMP)!! Normally I could just take it easy for a few days and be OK but today I have to drive the 4 hours back down to Lantana and our other house as I have to see all my 4 doctors tomorrow about my SSD claim and also mow the *)(^$##@!!!lawn!!!!! ERRRRRRRR! Why do I always do myself like this??? STUNAD!! So anyway, I'll be away for at least 2 ~ 3 days and not have a computor to check in on All of Y'all!! So take care of yourselves and each other till I get back> OK?? Big HUGZ from your fat buddy in Fla!!!
love Yuze Gize!!
PS> heard from my son Pete Jr. in the Persian Gulf last night! The are in port in Quate?sp? and in good spirits!! He was soooo happy he was able to get all the videos of our trip to Washinton State I e-mailed him!!
56 years old, Surgury, Radical Prostatectomy 8/20/03, PSA 6.6, Gleason 3 + 3 = 6, Adenocarcinoma extent (moderate) Stage & Margin:T2NOMX, No Metastases, Organ Confined, bone scan: Neg. 3 1/2 years of depression after surgery prior to Hypogonadizm DX, Testosterone Theropy> new 2/6/09> 400mg injections once a month. 56 and so glad to still be here to see my two sons grow up to be fine young men. They are both serving in the US Navy, Joseph is on the aircraft carrier USS John Stennis back in Bremerton, Wa. after 8 mo. deployment! and Pete Jr. is on The Asault Ship USS Bataan "The Jaws of the Fleet" somewhere in the Persian Gulf w/ 2,000 Marines aboard. I am one very proud (what they call me)> Big Pops!

shakehead nono rolleyes

Stunad! - ROFL!!!!! Can you hear that in your mother's voice in your head? smilewinkgrin

Yes, I do hope you can REST after all this, and not just for an hour or two. Oh, you guys who have build stuff! (Actually, I wish I had someone around cuz there's lots and lots of stuff at my house that has gone undone for years blush !)

I think it's time for you all to now go back to erector sets and building blocks - the kind kids use! You can go back to a toy store and get big trucks and bulldozers and all kinds of things and you won't hurt your back at all! tongue

Let us know how the doctor appointments go!

Wow Pete! You were quite ambitious! I'm sorry that you are paying dearly for your hard work! It just isn't fair, is it? You do a good deed & then you pay for it!

I hope the drive & the doctor's appointment go well! I hope you at least have a tractor mower, so that you can give your shoulders a rest!

We'll miss you!
