Hi Beeble... Welcome to the board.... Sorry that you have chronic pain, but glad you found this site. There is lots of good info and support here. I'm on long-acting morphine as well. Just takes the edge off for me... I have nerve pain as well, and have tried lots of meds for it....but had major side effects so I now just sort of deal w/ that....I've tried neurontin, topamax, lyrica, etc. Maybe someone else can help you in that area.

But, anyway, welcome and look forward to getting to know you...
Pain Issues: Neck/back pain; migraines; carpal tunnel syndrome; widespread joint/muscle pain, nerve pain in hands, arms, feet; I also have POTS/dysautonomia; CFS/Fibromyalgia; Severe Hypertension; Hypothyroidism; Addison's Disease; Central Sleep Apnea; etc etc

Future Plans: Intrathecal Pain Pump; already completed trial; awaiting my decision for implantation

Nice to meet you beeble! but like Tina said, sure wish it was under better circumstance!
This is a good forum, lots of nice people, we try to give support, most of my pain was caused by a car accident
in 1997, so yeah nerve pain can be the hardest to get treated properly...
Hope you'll like it here and stay..
lots of soft healing hugz for now!

Hi Beeble, you sure sound as if you have alot going on. I can't help with any sensible suggestions but just wanted to say hello and welcome. Please come and rant or come and have some light hearted banter, anything to help you ease the CP.

    Dear Beeble,
Good morning! My name is Dani. *huggs* It is very nice to meet you. I am very glad you found Healing Well! I am sure you will love it here just as much as we do!
I am so sorry to hear you are in so much pain! I dont know much about medical conditions.. Some names I recoganize, others I do not. Reguardless they sound rather painful! You have such a good outlook despite all that you are going throu. I am unsure of the differant types of meds, but, I notice we all have had to go through peroids of time (often LONG peroids of time) where it took a while to get our medicine types / brands / doses to just the right level. Stay strong! And keep pressing your doctors for differant options if one is not working well.
Again, it was very nice to meet you. I hope to get to know you better as time goes by :-)

Hello Beeble....and welcome....You are now an official member of the family...Sorry that we don't have any official welcome for you, but know that you among friends..
Although it's nice to meet new people, it's never nice when pain is the reason for a get we go.
Sorry to hear that you have multiple issues...most of us here also have mutiple medical issues....including, but not only mental issues. It seems that having CP goes hand in hand with mental health sucks...I know...I am also Bipolar, Diabetic, and my 16 yr. old son was recently diagnosed Bipolar also... i also have HBP....I'm sure there are more but I can't think of them right now...
I see that you are taking Morphine for the pain.... I take Methadone and tried to change to Morphine but that was a I went back....I also take Oxycodone 30 mg. 4 times a day for the BT pain...I took Neurontin for nerve pain and it worked but it made me feel groggy the next day so I stopped taking it.
We are always here if you want to talk....hope you have a great day>>>>

I have been a spectator for so long..Now it's time to participate.......
