Here’s the “Have you ever” game…answer the last person’s question and then post the next 'Have you ever' question… You can play as many times as you like. OK, go…

Have you ever..... drank icy cold water from a mountain stream?

Yes and jumped in as well.  Have you ever put the wrong ingredient in a receipe by mistake and did not find out until you served the food?

I was a newly wed and wanted to impress the new hubby by making homemade pizza. It wasn't the wrong ingredient, it was too much of a good thing - yeast. The pizza began to raise and raise and raise in the oven. In fact, it raised so high that it totally covered the second oven rake above the pizza. So here I was with my glorious pizza, only it not had the entire second shelf baked in the middle of it. Not good...

So #3, they always say kids say the darndest things. What little pearls your have children or nieces and nephews uttered in public that made you want to crawl under the table?

My youngest was about 2.  He was an active, all boy type toddler.  He loved any sort of ball.  While checking out at the grocery store, I was holding him on my hip.  He patted one of my breasts (I am full figured :)  and he said, to the delight of everyone around," Ball in dare.  Der is a ball in dare!"
Did you ever laugh so hard soda, water, ?? came out your nose?

Not laughed, but coughed while drinking soda. Yeck!

Have you ever had a nervous laugh at the wrong time and got strange looks?

Not a nervous laugh but a laugh at the wrong moment. I was sitting in church and during the sermon a toddler was crawling under the pews and tickled my leg causing me to laugh a bit just as the minister said that God loved everyone.

Have you ever fallen asleep watching TV and end up dreaming you were either in a movie/TV show or just watching a show and when you wake up that movie/show is on?

I try to every year, but no one will let me.

Have you ever hiked/climbed up to the top of a mountain just to stand on a ledge and see the world spread out before you?
Degenerative Disk Disease, 3 deteriorated and 2 of those are also herniated in lumbar spine, also 2 herniated in C-spine. Psoriatic Arthritis, with the sholders, hands, left hip, and knees affected the most. Major anxiety and depression issues. Wishing I could learn to live with this.

Back in 1979 I visited Hawaii and climbed to the top of Diamond Head! And I am not a hiker or mountain climber, by any means, but the view was glorious! You could see the beaches stretched out, and the layers of the water depth. Also on top there were bunkers from the War so that soldiers could be up there and protect the beaches. To get to the very top, you had to climb through one of the bunkers and up through a spiral staircase (in the middle of the bunker) that had nothing below it but what looked like a big hole! I was scared, but determined to get to the top and it was well worth it! A memory I'll always cherish.

Have you ever been caught in your "birthday suit" running from the shower into your bedroom - or quickly from one room to another to answer a phone or something, when you thought no one was looking?

Are you kidding??????  My memory is so bad that huge jokes are made about me in my family.  I have to laugh it off, cause I forget conversations from the previous day.  Lost track of a thought?  Wow you must know me!!!

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.

Wow Char!! You had a THOUGHT??? I am in awe of you ma'am. <getting down on knees to worship Char>

Yes, actually. Had a floral delivery from one of those online florists. Was from my son and his wife and daughter for mother's day. Was a few days early so wasn't expecting it and had no idea who it came from until I opened the card. Those are the fun ones.

Have you, wait, I know I had a question's on the tip of my, that's not it. Darn! OH, it was have you ever remembered something you forgot..Way, that's not it.

I remember...have you ever had trouble with names like when you're going to call your child in from play and you call them by the dog's name? Or you call your sweetie and use the cat's name. Or worse yet! you call your hubby by your EX's name!???

I call my students by the wrong names all the time. Try keeping Jasmin, Yasmeen, Jasmine, straight. Then add Gerardo and Ricardo. Throw in a Cyndee, Cindy, Sidney, and Cydeese. Even without fibro fog you'd be lucky to get it right! They usually forgive me after they've accidently called me "Mom."

Have you ever pulled a practical joke on someone? (What did you do?)

I worked for a large grocery chain as a Customer Service Manager.  During my years there I took some plastic wrap for grocery skids and wrapped the grocery managers chair on top of his desk it was so heavly wrapped it took him an hour to get it off.  The next day he wrapped my desk like a christmas present bow and all.
Have you ever dreamed of getting up and going to work?
