FOOD! We all love to talk about food~~~ YUMM-O! Young 3 year old grandson is crazy for cheese. He will open up the fridge and pull out the block of Tillamook cheddar that is always in there...even if it's the 5 pound block! tongue I do love good cheddars. Don't care for American or any processed cheese but give me some Cougar Gold (white cheddar from WSU), a little Feta on a salad, yummy Edam or Gouda on crackers, Swiss on a Philly-Steak sandwich...I do enjoy cheese. Oh, and what about cream cheese? The best use for that is cheesecake, of course... smilewinkgrin

What are your favorite cheeses and how do you eat them?
Children will not remember you for the material things you provided but for the feeling that you cherished them.

I think I like smokey Gouda about the best but next to that I love Velveeta I know when it comes to cheese that is at the bottom, but I still really do like it! oh and also strawberry cream cheese with jiff peanut butter on ritz crackers! Does it get any better than that?

Oh, I LOVE cheese! Favorite to munch on is an extra sharp white cheddar. Love NY Extra sharp! And fresh grated pecorino romano - that's the Italian in me. That's what I put in everything from spaghetti sauce to scrambled eggs to salads!

And plain NYS cheesecake.......yum. Oh, now I'm hungry and I can't eat this late!

Colby, Colby-jack, cheddar.

Just give me a knife and a chunk of one of those I am happy.

I also like to slice up some summer sausage and eat that along with any of those cheeses.

In the summer one of my favorite "quick" meals is grilled cheese (Velveeta slices) and tomato sandwiches.

Velveeta is the food of the gods!

I love a grilled cheese made from it. My father can make one that is crunchy on the surface and soft and drippy inside. (Yum!) Mine is always soggy. :(
