I can never remember when Daylight Savings time is any more. They change it every few years but I found out it's this weekend, Solll

Sunday, November 1st, at 2 AM you will need to set your clocks back one hour. Or be wise and set them back before you go to bed on Saturday night. Also it's time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors whether they need it or not. It's not worth taking a risk.

Enjoy the extra hour of sleep!

I had to laugh. I have an old VCR with a clock that sets to the old daylight savings time, so it switched last weekend and has been conufsing the heck out of me! I was too lazy to change it for a lousy week!

Eek! Is it this week?! Thanks so much for the reminder, Chutzie! I'll be very happy to have that extra hour of sleep (assuming I'm actually sleeping...). I just wish it didn't make it get dark so early!

Yep, Saturday night (or rather Sunday morning!). Coincides with Halloween this year.

I hate the early darkness, too. Those first few days are really hard to adjust to. Dark at 5pm! EEEKK!!

This is one thing that I hate about this time of year! Why can't we just leave our clocks alone! It gets dark early enough in the evening the way it is, now it will be just an hour earlier! I know I sound like an "old fuddy duddy" But I really do hate the shorter days, and turning the clocks back does nothing to help that! But since I can do nothing about it but rant and rave a little and then go ahead and change my clocks! I guess I should, Thank You Chutzie for the reminder! ( smile )

I am the odd man out.  I love this time change.  I get up so early that it feels so good to have that extra hour.  I don't love how dark it is at 5 but I live with it.  I hate the change in the spring!!! Getting up an extra hour early takes me like a week to get used to!!!

I love seasonal changes.  We have very dumb and muted weather where I live.  It is paradise really but very boring.  So even dark earlier is fun for me.  It is just about my only sign of winter.  Despite being a southern calif. native, I don't love it.  I want a bit more.  I know, selfish huh?

In Hawaii they don't observe the time change.
Just an interesting tidbit of information I thought you should know, compliments of my Hawaiian friend (she was very confused the first time she experienced Daylight Savings Time).

I pretty much go with the flow. I have to be up at 7:15 am every morning to babysit my granddaughter, so that extra hour for sleep will be delightful. Looking forward to it.

I have to get another alarm clock.  Last sunday I had to work (overtime) and was an hour late.  I have one of those expensive alarm clocks that has 4 alarms with 4 back up alarms.  It sets itself when the power goes out and sets itself for daylight savings time.

I was LATE to work I have never been late for work always early.  First time in 2 years I was more then 2 minutes late!  What a record to break.
