Well keeping with the ThanksGiving Day theme for one last time, I think it would be nice to share what we do on ThanksGiving Day! Do you watch the parades on TV, or do you go to them? Is there a special activity that you do on this day? Since allot of people spend this day with immediate Family and extended Family, is there any special family traditions that you follow or do? I am not going to start off on this one, but I would rather have all of you share as you will what things you do on this special day!

Happy ThanksGiving to all of YOU!

We divide up the cooking assignments. My wife does the sweet potatoes, green beans, little smokies wrapped in crecent rolls, and jellow sald. I wrastle the bird, make the dressing, potatoes, gravey. I will cook some shrimp and make some dip for snacks and then I am done. Maybe a little football, basket ball when my son is there and we sit around as a family and share stories. We used to help cooking and serving dinner to the homeless but that ended when we moved to the small town. I do surprise the family as I try and make a different dressing each year and experiment with the turkey. It is always enjoyed and it is great to have family (just the 4 of us this year. At some point I will drop in at the school and visit with the students.

We watch the Macy's Parade and fix dinner.  The house will smell so good soon.  We have brothernlaw and sisternlaw coming for supper tonight.  Enjoy the day with the family.

Be thankful everyone is relatively healthy and happy.  That things are good for us so nothing to complain about.  I know things are bad out there for some families so will say an extra prayer for them and their dreams come true.

Happy Thanksgiving All!!!

My wife and I will spend the day together by ourselves, as the kids are at thier dad's. We will grill some ribeye steaks tonight...a glass of wine....and cuddle time tonight! :) Right now, I'm going through my phone book, and sending text to all, wishing them Happy Thanksgiving. Off of work, and I love it....but the wifey is cooking up a storm for the family members on her side for tomorrow. Haver a wonderful Thanksgiving to all here. Thank you soooo much for being there for me when I needed you the most in my life....I couldn't ask for a better bunch of family to share with. My heart goes out to all of you! :).......Now Scram!

Our daughter was just here and helped me put the leaf in the table, set it and put the meat into the oven. We won't eat until about 4ish so with almost everything done I am going to relax and rest until about 2:30 or so then I'll finish up. She is at her boyfriends for lunch and will eat again. The other daughter and family will be here when she gets back from Topeka. I usually don't watch the parades, I used to when the kiddos were home but haven't for some time but I'm sure I'll get in on a FB game or two when the men show up. I will go to the parade tomorrow night when Santa comes to light up the park and officially kick off the Christmas season. Ya right there has been Christmas stuff in the stores since Halloween. Jesus being the reason for the season seems to be an after thought for retailers.....man oh man
