I not even sure how to say what i'm feeling, but i need to get it out so here goes. I've been working for the postal service for the past 9 years. They really expect alot of their employees and this time of the the year can be very taxing on even the healthy employees. I work some saturdays (my day off) to help out due to our office being short handed. When i do work a saturday i can take another day off so i did this past week i took monday. When i went in yesterday my route was so far behind due to the sub they put on the route Monday. I was already having a high pain day and then when i seen what a mess i had to deal with i just couldn't do it so i left. I told the post master i had to leave and i did i went to my chiro and spent the rest of the day taking it easy. So here i am getting ready to try it again and pray i don't walk into another big mess today not sure if i can deal. I know i'm just rambling on here but i had let it out and maybe i'll manage much better today. thanks for listening!!! smhair

Aunt Kay your not alone. It seems like every company is expecting their employees to do more without more time to do it in. That is one of the reasons their are so many unemployeed people now due to cut backs at companies. I can't imagine the amount of extra work at is piled on you this time of year. I do hope you can make it through this busy time.

Do you see a pain management doctor or anyone to help you with pain control? Sorry I can't really help you out here but I will sympathise with you so post and get it out anytime you feel the need.

Auntkay....your post sounds so familuar to I'm in the same situation here. I have missed over 200hrs of work this year for health reasons...and everytime I come back to work, someone has left me a big mess to deal with. I like wouldn't mind it...if we felt better when we come back to work...but as we all know..CP is a 24/7 pain in the but, and we never seem to get back to feeling well. Take care...and I hope you have a sympathic boss who will give you some support.

Aunt Kay, put it out there any time you need it. You know you amaze me how you still just keep on going. Sometimes, I see the energizer bunny commercial and I always say to myself, there goes Aunt Kay , lol. I really do not know how you manage that is for sure. I do hope tho soon you can get something done, eventually all of this is going to catch up with you and I really do not want to see that happen, its just not good.
Take care of yourself lady, I do worry about you.

I don't know how you do it either - especially with the job you're describing at this time of the year! Please remember your health has to come first, and that's why you have sick time. I know it's about the busiest time of the year at work, but that sounds like hard work for someone who's NOT in CP. Please, take care of yourself!

The stress is effecting my physically i can feel my insides getting gittery and i always get nauseas. Thanks for the love !!!!!!

I don't know about the others, but I can't imagine anywhere else you DO belong but here! You are such an amazing woman and I have always admired how hard you work and yet you keep on going. No way could I come close to what you do. All I can offer you is a cyber hug and a shoulder to cry or lean on...long distance. Please take a little time each day to pamper yourself. It's easy for us to forget.
