Happy Friday all~~

For those who celebrate this time of year I'm sure life is getting busy...I'm no exception. I used to be way out ahead of the game but any more I'm lucky if I have things done by Christmas Eve when we have family here to celebrate. What we DO need is that ME time we talk about, and even more so now. So, let's each make a promise to get the ME time in and tell what you are going to do to help you get through the holidays with a smile on your face.

OK, here goes...I promise I will get to bed earlier and not stay up late working on projects. By getting to bed earlier I will feel better the next day, and I know that. I just don't always listen to myself. Also, I promise to let others do more of the work for the dinner on Christmas Eve. I most often do 95% myself even tho I have offers of help. This year I will take the family up on their offers....Promise! And I promise to TRY and not get frustrated with hubby...and his one little flaw when it comes to gift giving. Probably best leave that one alone. But I will TRY! wink

Those are the things I promise to do just for ME to feel better over the holiday season. What will YOU promise to do to take the best care of yourself that you can? It's time for you to pamper yourself and even be a bit selfish.

Warm hugs,

ps...and the news is, Chutzie's going to take a few days vacation from posting the Koffee Klatch. When it returns on January 4th I will be posting it a bit later in the day. It will be more of an afternoon or late morning event. I hope it will still work fine for everyone. I have been staying up very late to post it so it's ready for everyone when they get up in the morning. But I need to get to bed earlier so I'm having to change the timing. Thanks for understanding!

I'm going to rest too. Straight after Christmas day we are heading off up the coast to stay with friends and if the weather is good we plan to lie on beaches and eat salads and barbecued food. Its our summer break. I've bought myself two books and I plan on reading them with my feet up. I'm secretly hoping I get a beach chair with my heavy hinting as part of the deal. As sitting on sand or ground is no longer an option for me.

Thats the grand be kind to myself plan. REST, REST and more REST. Until Jan5th when all the madness starts again! Golitho
PS. No worries with the posting for me as I'm on a 16 hour difference to you guys anyway, I think, yeah you are 12.30am and I am 6.30pm on Friday right now.

I'm also going to try and catch up on all the things that I have been putting off for the last 30yrs or will remove some of the guilt and burden I have been carryig around for quite some time now. Maybe I can enjoy what little life I have left in me! Probably the greatest joy I get is suppporting my friends here, and will continue to do so as much as possible. And last but not least...My wife and I will enjoy the Kitten that we now he has brought much joy into our lives....he is conected at the hip to the both of us equally! I will try to get more ME time as well this next year. Not just ME time but quality ME time...I'm not going to worry about every little detail just throw things up and let them fall where they may. I hope to spend more quality time with my hubby, kids and grandkids and make a special effort to see my momma more often....she is in assisted living and I'm usually her momma when I'm with her but what the heck I still have her and hope to be well enough in 2010 to be present more often.
