I found your first post in the Chronic Pain 101 thread and decided to move it here so more people can meet and greet you! I'm sorry you 'have' to be here but I am very glad you decided to join us. There are a lot of wonderful folks here who live a similar life to yours. We suffer from different disorders and problems surrounding them but we do have pain in common and that's a bond unlike any other. We can tell others how we feel, explain what life is like, but only another person who lives with Chronic Pain can truly understand our life.
I know the gang will be by soon to welcome you. When you get a chance can you share a bit about
yourself? Like many of us I have several 'issues'
but what causes the most pain is Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis. No fun but that's what I face each day. I'm lucky to have a wonderful doctor who believes in quality of life and listens to his patients. IMHO, that's probably the most important part of our care. But without the support and friendship of the folks here I would never be able to do as well as I have. So come join us our 'family' and we'll be here whenever you need us...K?
