A peaceful Saturday...or at least it was supposed to be. Ever be looking forward to peace and quiet on a weekend and as you get towards Friday things just keep snowballing your way and *poof* there goes your quiet

Which begs the question...are you someone who likes things planned in advance, no surprises. Or do you roll with the punches and enjoy the spontaneity of life? I'm wondering of the planning type of person can't imagine how the other types can stand it and the one who's spontaneous can't imagine how planning things can be enjoyable.

What kind of person are you? And what are your thoughts on this topic?

I'm one of those who thinks the world should be on a giant piece of graph paper all laid out in neat rows and columns. It would be so easy to keep track of things. And no, my house sure isn't that way even though I would prefer I'm one who organizes, makes lists and lists of the lists. No matter where we are going I've got the map out and checking where we are along the trip. So you can see what side of the teeter-totter I'm on. I don't do well with last minute things as it disrupts my brain somehow, but I still go with whatever needs to be done at the time. Then I lock the doors and pile under some blankets while I recover... tongue

I have had problems in the past with some people who are NOT planners...but I think it was more the situation and the person, not that everyone has to plan their life. Mainly my daughter is a last minute girl and most often running late...even though she has had plenty of time to be punctual. But she is NEVER late when I'm involved...the wrath of a mother. just kidding! smilewinkgrin

And you??

I am both. It just depends on exactly what is being talked about. Some things I like to plan out ahead of time, and other things I just kind of go with the flow. One thing though is that if there is a plan I do like to stick with it. It drives me nuts to plan something out and then have something or someone try to make it a "oh whenever" type of affair.
