Hi all~~

We're pretending today...I'm independently wealthy, as are all of you...(ya gotta love this already) so we're going to get together for a celebration. We will all fly to meet at a location and I'll treat everyone to supper the first night.

Where are we going and what type of restaurant???

OK, if I were to be honest here I'd invite you all to the beaches of Washington state. There's are many really nice hotels with fine dining in their restaurants. Elegant seafood, right on the ocean dunes with a view of the waves and 5 star treatment. You can then retire to your room that has a balcony that overlooks the dunes and the entire ocean as far as the eye can see. It's breathtaking...and just wait until sunset.

But instead I'm taking everyone to a little old fashion diner about 3 miles up the road. Plain black and white tiles on the floor, 50's tables that have those chrome legs and chairs to match. It's about a block back from the dunes, gravel parking lot and paper napkins. BUT, if you like seafood then this is the place. For those who do I'll order up fresh razor clam dinner with homemade coleslaw for everyone. For others who prefer something else I hear the burgers are to die for. And afterwords...what kind of local made pie would you like??? Ala-mode??? After our meal, if we are able to waddle out of there, we'll take a left, leave the cars in the parking lot and gently stroll down to the beach, sit on big logs and watch the sunset. Anyone up for it???

And where will we go and what will we dine on in 'your world'?

Oh, Chutzie!
Your world sounds great to me!!! Can I have the "five star" treatment and still go to the diner?? LOL I love fresh seafood. Clams and oysters on the half shell with some dipping sauce with a little bite to it. Maybe a bonfire once we waddle (roll?) down to the beach?

But my one request would be going back to the 5 star hotel for a private massage in my room - being able to overlook the ocean, of course!

If we can get on a plane once we've had our fill of your world, I want to fly to Hawaii!!!!

Thanks for this one! I really need it!

Give me a steak and I'm happy, Saltgrass or "Texas Land and Cattle" for their best steak, medium well and the rest is history.
Then we could go to Galveston Island walk along the beach or go on a paddle wheel cruise, a paddle wheel cruise sounds nice eh...

Oh to dream...

Thanks Chutz

My wife and I recently met Privey and her husband....and they are coming down this weekend to spend some time with us! I could not believe it when I finally got to meet someone from the forum.
