Hey everyone, I let the dogs out at 3:30 this morning and it was snowing. It is a thick wet snow too and sticking like crazy. It was so beautiful looking out in the peace and quiet of the wee hours. Looked like a post card. It is almost 8:00 am and it has been coming down non-stop. Now, I know all my friends here that has been blasted all winter with this stuff cannot get excited and I understand. But, please humor me for a second then tell me to stuff it, lol. You cannot imagine the rarity of 3 snows since December for us Texans. Only the peole in the panhandle get this white stuff during the winter.
My two dogs are having a blast running in and out playing in it. Now that it is daylight, I am going to go out and play in it too. I may do snow angels.. lol.

Straydog....you keep that snow down there! We have had enough moisture to last all summer up here. Stray I would like to be there to see you make that snow angel...what fun that would be!

Chartreux, the reason I like it is cause I don't have to get out and drive in it. My husband is able to work from home when it's like this, even though his boss doesn't like it. Tough cookies, he's not going to risk his life out there.

Well we have bright sunny skies this morning and it is 18 degrees and of course we are all blanketed in the nasty cold white stuff! I had to go into town yesterday and the interstate was a mess the high winds blowing all that snow that we got the other day, I counted 6 cars off the road in a 20 mile stretch! Make your snow angels straydog and have fun in it. smile!!! I would rather have 60's and 70's and be wearing shorts!

We were supposed to get over a foot of snow yesterday.....We got a grad total of ONE INCH!!! Boy did the weatherman screw up this time (actually, that is the SECOND time they've done that this year). We've gotten way below average snowfall this year, but the states just to the south are getting whammed!

Hope you enjoyed the white stuff. It sure is beautiful!

Ok, Susie, I'll give you a pass this time! :-) Enjoy making those snow angels and watching your dogs. Yes, it is beautiful at times even I have to admit. The first snowfall of the year would be awesome if I didn't know what would be following it! LOL

Hey, drag out a sled while you're at it! ;-)
