Back home from hospital/surgery

Hello everyone............Thanks for all of the well whishes. I am just a little woozy from meds.
ISurgery went great. No leg pain at all. Lots of surgical pain, but i was expecting that so no surprise.
I did end up back in the hopital the day after the sent me home. Tuesday was surgery, went home on wednesday night (to soon you ask, yes it was) Ended up haveing celulitis and superficial blood clot in arm.  Got rushed back in on thursday and just got home this morning.
I will fill everyone in on details tomorrow, right now I just need to rest.
I also had red man syndrom, not dangerous but very interestng.
Thanks everyone for wishes, but can't concentrated on completing a full sentence. HAHA

Diagnosed crohns Disease 07, Bladder tumor and inflammation, Herniated disc, spinal stenosis, facet arthritis, degenerative disc disease, siatica, Three laparoscopis, hysterectomy, physical therapy, trigger point injections, spinal epidurals, Meds lyrica, vicodine, amrix.

So glad that the surgery went well. Sorry you had such a rough time afterwards, but hopefully that is behind you now and you can concentrate on healing. Please take it easy and rest as much as possible.

Sometimes I think even the docs forget how traumatic surgery is for the entire body, even minimally invasive procedures. Rushing people home I agree doesn't help matters, but I'm glad you got the problems taken care of. And yes, it does sound like an 'interesting" adventure, although one I'm sure you'd prefer not to have had!

Rest and take care of yourself, then come back here when it's right for you!

Glad to hear you are home and doing good finally. Take your time about getting back to us. The important thing here is you, taking care of you. We will be heer waiting for you when you are ready. Be kind to your body.

crohns disease dx 2002 & small bowel resection, still looking for remission whatever that is, chronic pain 22 yrs, added ulcerative colitis 6-05 to the mix, high blood pressure 28 yrs, aortic heart valve insuffiency, depression, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis lumbar spine, scoliosis lumbar spine, peripheral neuropathy hands & feet, COPD & on oxygen therapy, lupus & psoriasis and psoratic arthritis. Several other health issues just not enough room to list it all. Too many surgeries to list and too many medications to list. Currently on 17 different daily medications. Intrathecal pain pump implanted June 05.

Cardiomyopathy, Celiac Disease, High Blood Pressure, 2 Fusions @ L4, L5, S1, 2 Fusions @ C7 & C8, Implantible bone growth stimulator cervically, and soon to have Neurostimulation Therapy to treat lumbar, Chronic Pain Sufferer for 8 years, take several meds daily to survive!
