I was on the patch and I really liked it. It didn't make me feel "high", but then nothing really does at this stage! I had a bit of an issue with the adhesive as I'm allergic to most types of adhesives. As far as being addicted, this is how I feel, I'm going to have to take something the rest of my life. Realistically, I will be at least physically addicted to some form of pain med or another. So my decision was to take what I have to and be responsible with it. I don't take my pills when I need too as by that time I'm hurting terribly, so I take as perscribed. The other thing that blows me away is that I've actually had people ask me for a pain pill just for the high! And my answer will always be NO!! Now as far as all the side effects, I didn't have any besides the slight adhesive rash. I have a friend who has really crazy reactions to medications, she has even woken up in surgery 4 times! Blah! But, she went into a coma after a short time with the patch. It's really rare and I wouldn't put to much stock into that side effect. Like I said, she's just weird that way!
Try it out and enjoy the constant flow of medication that keeps you from being in constant pain except for the times you get to take a pill. They work well. Take care and let us know how it works for you!
I'm called Cat, but as there are few other Cat's on here, I put the number of cats I have and combined it to spell out Catz4
