Good evening Pommom! I thought that might be what it was called. Please be very patient with the healing process with this type of tear, as it can take a long, long time to heal. My sister just went to see her surgeon to see what he thought, and he said as long as there was progress in healing, he would not yet suggest the surgery to fix it. My sister also suffers from the same as I with DDD, but not on the same scale as mine, or as long a time that I have, but her pain is so much worse because of the annular tear.
I think she has torn several of them right in a row. Good luck to you, and your healing, and be very careful in your daily activity's. We are so glad you have shared this with us here on the forum, but more importantly, Thank You for asking questions! The members here usually step right up to the plate to help. I hope you get to feeling better, and please be careful with that tear.
