Finally Friday and I'm ready for a weekend. Why? So I can spend more time with my best friend! smilewinkgrin my hubby. I do hope you all are looking forward to the weekend and maybe you will have some good weather to enjoy too.

If you were going to plan a perfect weekend at home, what would it be?

I have to think hard about this one because there are so many choices, in my opinion. For Saturday I would love to work on some project with hubby. Maybe some photography or similar. Then I really enjoy when he helps me cook. We are great when it comes to making perogies! Funny how people just happen to show up when we're making them. tongue After supper I'd just like to sit and enjoy his company visiting and chatting about plans for this years' vacation. We could plan the trip and map out each stop we'd like to make. We're not going a huge distance but we do like to research where we are going and places to see along the way.

To end this day we'll stay up late and enjoy a decadent dessert like peanut butter cup cheesecake. Then off to bed where we don't have to worry about any alarm clocks going off in the morning. My idea for Sunday is to sleep in and have hubby fix his famous pancakes for breakfast. Haven't had them in years. The remainder of our weekend will be spent relaxing and maybe watch a hockey game or two. ;-)

What would your dream weekend at home be like?

Hi Chutzie,

For me it would be sleeping late (wouldn't that be nice, although I'd settle for just sleeping through the night) & then spending the day with my dogs & family. If it is nice out, I'd spend most of the day outside (that's especially nice when it gets warmer & the pool is open) & just be lazy. It's nice not to have to do anything or go anywhere.

A perfect weekend at home:

1. Sleep in on Saturday
2. Eat waffles, bacon and syrup for breakfast
3. Go shopping, but some new sundresses
4. Enjoy ice cream while out
5. Have a refreshing nap on Sat. afternoon
6. Share a delicious dinner with my husband - rib eye steak, mashed potatos with lots of butter, grilled mushrooms and onions.
7, Go for a soak in the hot tub for 30 minutes
8. Enjoy a glass of wine while relaxing in the cooling summer air
9. Watch a movie with my husband
10. Get ready for bed, giving thanks to the Lord for an amazing day.
11. Wake up Sunday, get washed up, head to church
12. Sing, listen, praise and worship
13. Come home, eat yogurt and granola
14. Nap
15. Read
16. Eat dinner, something Ray has made that smells yummy
17. Drink some wine, enjoy some time with Ray
18. Watch a movie with my hubby
19. Enjoy a little loving with my sweetie
20. Drift off to sleep, thankful for another day.

   Dear Chutz,
Much the same as all nice quiet weekends at home are, except maybe with a house keeper, cook, launder service and grocery delivery! ... Okay wait!
...Doing even those things as a family are awesome! Part of what makes it a great weekend! Dryer fresh woobies, vacumed carpets, slow cooked meals and yes even the grocers store, esp with family..though perhaps I would add in a nice stroll to the feilds for fresh flowers (weeds  :-)   ) even though I know I will sneeze  smilewinkgrin

And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
