Do you like to listen to the radio? In the car, at home or both? What do you listen to...talk radio or music?

I go through stages where I only listen to talk radio. Then I get fed up with it all and don't turn on a radio even while driving. Then I may go through several weeks or months where I listen to easy listening music. Sometimes I put music on the TV/dish. There's some good stuff out there too. Nice show tunes and big bands...love that stuff.

What do you listen to on the radio, if anything?

i do listen to the radio (off and on) it annoys me that a 10 minute ride sometimes ends up being the endless commercial on most stations!  I go back and forth between easy listening, talk radio and my favorite stand by Celine Dion CD's!

I remember way back when...when I was young, I used to think HOW could they not know that song or artist...geez old farts.....welp I'm one of them now lol.

Hey Chartreux! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that listens to Jazz! :) (Manneheim Steam Roller)

I generally don't listen to the radio when I'm driving, as I think it can be a safety hazard. (my opinion only) I guess I spent too many years in Law Enforcement, and I prefer to listen to the motor and the traffic around me.
That is certainly a switch from my younger days, as I used to have it cranked up to either the local Rock & Roll or Country station :)

However if the weather is bad while I'm driving, I will turn on the local news station.

I used to listen to the radio but it got to the point that the commercials were driving me CRAZY! I do a lot of driving and I like music so switched to listening to CD's. Now I listen to my ipod on shuffle through the stereo system in my truck so I'm good to go for a long time without having to change or touch anything. I have all sorts of music on my ipod ranging from country to classical to rock and lots in between. Lisa

I listen to the radio in the car & sometimes when I'm working in the lab. I listen mostly to country & easy listening -- my sister always makes fun of me because I'm only 22 & yet I much rather listen to 80's & 90's music than today's music. I also listen to NPR. I love Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, but I don't always get around to listening to it.

I do. I listen to oldies and to Christian stations where I listen to some pastors that I like.

When I do listen to the radio, I mostly listen to country and religious music.  I also like the oldies like Skeye.
