Sorry to have been away but I am having a real bad time with cellulitis in both legs, and I am back on IV antibiotics for this. This time around it really has knocked me down with fever and just feeling poorly. Of course its the old routine of staying off your feet and keeping the legs elevated. The fever became so bad in my legs and feet that I resorted to making ice packs out of one gallon size zip lock bags and I laid them directly on my feet and legs. I swear, I think I could actually hear a sizzle, lol. Oh, the heat was incredible and I did not even bother laying a towel between the bags and my skin, I needed relief. It was temporary but oh it felt good. I knew I was in trouble when I could not stand up on my feet let alone walk. I am dealing with this goofy psoriasis and its really made a mess of my feet, and its on the right side of my face, almost looks like someone hit me in the eye, pretty heavy on my forehead and into the hairline. Stress triggers my outbreaks, if someone knows how to stop stress please email me. Now, I am peeling like crazy from the fever. Due to being plagued with so much infection I have not been able to take my Humira injections for months now. In fact, once the infection is cleared my gastro says we will have to do the loading doses all over again, great. I am having a horrible crohns flare, and and eye infection along with 3 stys on my left eye. When it rains it pours. I cannot decide which is the worse of the two evils, cellulitis or crohns flares, both are equally bad and cause so many problems. I am living on popcicles to keep from becoming dehydrated. Between fever and both ends going I feel like I don't have much of a chance. The bad part is my pump does nothing for the pain these illnesses cause and trying to keep pain meds down has been difficult, keeping anything down is difficult.
I lost my drivers license in the house and search for days for it. I even check the dog's kennel because he is a hoarder. The brittany has been a hoarder since he as a puppy. He had two pairs of my husbands shoes in there, a scrub brush, a long white plastic spoon that he get popped with, a newspaper still in its plastic bag, the rug that was in front of the kitche sink that I have now given to him. He also has a big dog pillow that is the size of his kennel. He has the large kennel and he is a small boy. He and the husband have been fighting over the tv remote. As soon as the husbdand gets up to go to the bathroom Britt runs over and gets the tv remote and takes it to his house.
I called the drivers license place to see what I needed to get a replacement drivers license. A picture ID, passport or birth certificate or SS card. Looked for SS card could not find it. I thought my passport was expired too, and I had no clue where it was at. One morning my husband walks out to the living room with my passport and my SS card was inside it. Off to get my replacement card we go. Oh, they want to take a new picture, now I have three stys on one eye, my eye is almost swollen shut, the right eye has that horrible psoriasis under it, I begged her to use the old pic but nothing doing. I looked like Cyclops from the old horror movies. The picture is just awful, a mug shot would have been much better I am sure. Thye following morning I washed some of my blue jeans and shorts & threw them in the dryer. Heard the dryer go off so I get up and go pull everything out and hang it up. Reached in and felt something, pulled it out there is my drivers license that I could not find. It is still in effect, the lady said if I found it to just put in in a drawer. That is going right back in my wallet not the new one.
I am limited on being up and especially sitting with my legs down so my computer time is limited. The wireless card went out on my laptop too. One thing after another for sure. I will be hitting and missing in here until I get these legs taken care of still around just not doing much right now. Take care & thanks for asking about me.
