Come join our daily Koffee Klatch. Everyone is welcome no matter what forum you frequent most. This is a place in our day where we smile, laugh, think and generally have a bit of fun. We have that feeling of being 'normal' for a while. So please, join in...

If you could drop everything and go anywhere and do anything - without any financial or personal consequences - where would you go and what would you do? This is hard to just pick one. There are so many places I'd love to see and things I'd love to do. But right now I would go visit a special friend instead. This friend just found out she has female cancer and needs immediate surgery. If I could I would go visit her and be with her through the surgery until she was back home and well rested. I'd be honored to help her any way I could. Then, I'd head for Ireland... smilewinkgrin

And where would you go if there were no worries at all?

If there were no worries at all, and I could go anywhere and do anything, I would like to take a year to go sailing with my husband, wherever the wind takes us!! Ray has done a ton of sailing in his life, and I've done a bit. We would have a beautiful boat, just large enough for the two of us (and our cat, who would love being out on the ocean. We could sail to any port that calls us, and enjoy terrific adventures while really getting to know each other.

I hope our dreams come day and soon!!

Conditions: Fibromyalgia, Myofascial Pain, Chronic Pelvic Pain (with permanent muscle damage), Femoralacetabular Impingement (CAM and Pincer), Reynauds, IBS, Surgical Adhesions, Ophthalmic Migraines, Severe Hot Flashes (both Surgical Menopause and medication related), plus physically unable to vomit due to the Nissen, and I have extremely tiny veins with a lot of scar tissue...a joy when it comes to having to give blood or get an IV started

Surgeries: Appendix, Uterus, Nissen Fundoplication for GERD, Left Ovary, Gallbladder, Right Ovary, TVT

Medications: Oxycontin, Cesamet, Tramacet, Cymbalta, Flexeril and Clonidine plus Laxaday, Vitamin D and a Multi-Vitamin daily

I think I would go to Hawaii. I have always wanted to go and stay at a hotel on the beach. My husband says I would be disappointed because I am from Florida and there wouldn't be much difference, but I would still like to go.

Thank you Chutz. I love you.

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.

I'm afraid I'm going to be the petty one.....I would love to go to Macy's right by myself, buy everything I want (without regard to cost/transportation/storage/need) and just enjoy the "new" of things. I want to buy for me, my family and whoever I feel like buying for and just give it to them with no strings attached. I do, however, want to be there to see their faces when they get the gifts.

I actually started to go Macy's this morning, but the drive is over an hour and my finances are not what they should be for a shopping adventure. It's also a little too much physically so I settled with a Dollar Tree and a trip to the grocery store. Oh well, Macy's will wait and I can shop till I drop another time (perhaps when I win the Lottery....that I don't actually play).....well it was only a wish :)

I would love to go to Disney World.  It would be so much fun.  Hawaii is on my radar too.  I wish all our wishes could come true.
