There's only myself, my hubby Ray and our cat Dorie at our house, so the last person would be Ray as he was leaving for work this morning. We have lots of little rituals and stuff, so this one was me still in bed, debating going back to sleep or getting up, and Ray coming to kiss me good bye before leaving for work. When one of us is going out and the other one is staying home, we always say to each other: "Okay....love you...bye bye" (this is a common phrase for us, and is used at bedtime as well in "okay...love you...night night, or okay...love you...nap nap".
I know it sounds silly, but we have lots of little rituals and sayings in our marriage...special things that only have meaning for the two of us. I think it helps to strengthen us as a couple - especially because we are so completely different from each other. One area that we do agree on though is that saying "I love you" is important to us and we both say it often throughout the day, always with meaning and never taken for granted.
Have a great day everyone - be as comfortable as possible.
