Do you have a running list of things you want to fix or improve around your house or apartment? What are the top-three home-improvement projects on your to-do list? Let's limit the list to things we actually have a chance of doing. shocked :-) It might be something like put some new shelves in a closet. Or would you like to have one room of the house painted? Maybe what would make your life easier is a new dishwasher. What's on your 'list'?

I have to shorten this list like crazy but I can do it. shakehead idea tongue We've been working on a small addition but hubby seems to be stalled for quite a while and I'd really like to get this thing done. But that's not a single item so I'll go more simple.

1) I would love to have my decks repainted this summer. I can likely do most of that.
2) I need to repaint the trim on the house. It will be slow going but there is hope. wink
3) And I would really love a new microwave, the type that goes over the stove. I lose so much counter space to that darn one I have. I do have a birthday coming up in a couple of months. I've dropped hints before several other occasions and it's not worked yet. Maybe I need to be a bit more blunt. smilewinkgrin

What three things are on your list to get done around your home?

!!hehehe, you should switch to stucco! All we have to do is spray it with a hose to clean it! And even better tourists think "weathered and broken" trim is part of culture!! hehe
  Okay, lemme think...
1) Help girls make birdhouse for my friend.
2) Convert the outside lamp covers to plastic and energy saver light bulbs.
3) Call tow company to take my cougar to casa esperonza.

I will be proud to say that after searching for 2 years in my local stores for a white Bunn coffee maker, I found was in a store 2 1/2 hours away tho! lol I have a white and beige kitchen and every Bunn I saw was black and of course I didn't want it to stick out like a sore thumb! But I was just tickled pink when I found it :)

But my to do list is getting longer and longer and I can only do so much because of my back.
1) Get my pool open for the season and be ready for my son's high school graduation party in June.
2) Yard work for once again, my son's grad party.
3) Clean the basement

We have been super busy trying to get the house ready for the grad party and I have been working my tush off (and yes, paying for it some days!) We have approximately 55 people coming to the party so I am gonna be one busy gal!

hmmmm... three things....

Clean out my back room and take the "stored" items to be used by someone else :) (Really, I just takes a few months to get them there).

Repair/paint the trim and shutters (not gonna happen by me)

Clean out my daughter's room (again) and move that stuff on out with the stuff from the back was mostly things she had outgrown anyway :)

My windows in my room at home need to be replaced. They are all rotten but we don't have to money to replace them right now. They will cost several thousand dollars to replace. Windows are ridiculously expensive! I just had to replace a window in my car (car got broken into at school) & it cost $200!
