I hope you decide to post your thoughts today. It's easy, fun and free! How much better can it get? idea tongue

Today's question is ... What gets you excited about life? Is there one thing/person/time/event/whatever that gets you pumped up and glad to be alive? What is that and why does it have such a wonderful impact on you?

I'm split on this one. There's the excitement for live that my husband brings me. When we just sit and talk or maybe pack a picnic and take a day trip/drive together. We both get revitalized almost like having a vacation. But for general happiness and smiles there's nothing like the giggles of the young grandchildren. And the older one's laugh is just as infectious. How can you not love life when a little guy says, "Grandma, thank you for the bandage for my nose!" and it was the tiniest scratch Or when a 9 month old is bouncing in my lap, looks me in the face, grins and then buries his face in my neck and snuggles down for a nap. It's then you know it's great to be alive!

What is it that gets you excited about life? and why?

Right now what is keeping me on a wave of excitement is the soon to be arrival of my first grandbaby due on June 22nd.  I am helping my daughter get her room ready which is beyond exciting for me!

Patti, how exciting!!! I'm a Grammi three times over, and was there for the birth of the first boy and the last boy (and heard the middle boy being born over the phone). Being a Grandma is the most amazing experience ever and I am delighted you are going to experience it!

What gets me excited is simply the fact it's a new day and mine to make into whatever I want. I'm a pretty simple person, I don't need a lot of "stuff" in my life, but I like to do things for others, so I look out for special opportunities and that makes every day exciting.

Have a great week everyone...

Medications: Oxycontin, Cesamet, Tramacet, Cymbalta, Flexeril and Clonidine plus Laxaday, Vitamin D and a Multi-Vitamin daily

   Dear Chutz,
It's my family! I waited oh so very long for a family! When I had my own it was so much better than I ever dreamed I would have! I use to daydream for years about what it would be like, what I would do if God could just give me this one wish! If my prayers could just be answered! Now I have one, all my very own! They were worth the wait! They are so much more than I ever dreamed they would be. They make me feel whole and complete. The possibilities are endless and so is the love we share each day!

And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
