What’s the next planned event you're looking to in your life? Obviously this is supposed to be something fun or good that will be coming up before long. Are you taking a vacation? What about a wedding or the birth of a child in your family? Maybe you are planning a back yard BBQ with friends of a date with someone you love for dinner and a movie.

This one is hard for me because right now my head is pretty foggy. I was looking forward to camping this coming weekend but hubby decided he wasn't up for it. So... I'll have to wait and see what the rest of you have to say. Then I'm sure something will pop back into my head and the fog will clear a bit... shocked tongue

What fun thing is coming up in your life?

Wow Chartreux....congratulations!!!!

My hubby and I had a sudden flurry of invites for events over the next two weeks. I'm actually a bit worried because we have something happening almost every day now for the next week. In addition to a bridal shower and a surprise 60th birthday celebration (that we chose over a wedding that same day) coming up, we are planning a short road trip in July to Winnipeg, Manitoba for the wedding of a dear friend.

We've decided to drive (12 hours in total) rather than fly but we can take our time. Ray will do most of the driving (he loves it) and we'll get there over 2 days instead of trying to cram it all into one day. When we leave on the Sunday, we're going to make a stop to visit a cousin of his who keeps bees, to get some honey and beeswax candles, and then we're going to stop in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan for the night at the Temple Gardens Mineral Spa. We'll "take the waters" there in the indoor/outdoor mineral pool and then retire to our jacuzzi room (also piped into the mineral water) for a relaxing evening. After a good breakfast in the morning, we finish our journey to home.

In and amongst all of this are other invites for BBQ's, and baby showers, plus we're going to our church's Family Camp this year, which takes place over the Father Day weekend. We've rented a cabin and I'm quite looking forward to relaxing there and doing a whole lot of nothing! I even have an outdoor portable rocking chair!

Whew...I just read that all over and I think I need a nap!!!

hugs to all,

Myself, husband, and daughter are going to Greenberg, Kansas for a family reunion around July 4th. Greenberg is that town that was destroyed by a tornado and the townsfolk rebuilt it with "Green" energy and such.

We are also saving up to take our 4yr old to Disney World before she gets too old!

btw- Chutz, we LOVE camping too.
