i am getting my scs implant here shortly, within the next three weeks.. most of my problems are in my left leg and left foot. my foot hurts so bad, it feels like it is broken. a few days ago i woke up with a red spot on my ankle bone. it is a little swollen and hurts a lot to touch it. i called my pm doc and the nurse said it is nothing to worry about.

i was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

thanks so much and hope you all are having a good summer!

Maybe you should go and get your foot checked out by a podiatrist (foot doctor)
just to give yourself some peace of mind. I had the side of my foot turn red and was sore to the
touch after a injury to it and I had ruptured the pb maybe elvate and ice your foot
to see if that might help...
and well wishes on the SCS.....My doctor keeps talking about a scs but I keep stalling it, I'm not ready for it..
good luck to you...
nice to meet ya, but sure wish it was under better circumstance than chronic pain...

Hi Rena!

And welcome! I too am glad to meet you. If you are worried about that red spot I'd do what Chart said and get it checked out, unless that doc would explain it to you over the phone. But still, he hasn't seen it. It would bother me not knowing. I doubt it's anything HUGE but even so when it's happening to you or to me it IS huge.

Keep us posted!
