hi all
i facing a problem from last few months regarding the acute concentrated pain in lower back with vomiting and  gas. the pain is so acute that it makes it tough for me to be at peace. the pain usually starts in evening and goes on for hours then one fine hour after vomiting and taking painkiller it subsides in early morning and then only i can sleep.
pain is less severe than pain associated with kidney stone as i had experience kidney stones also. But occurs almost at the same location and it si internal only. i have seen already three good doctors but not able to get to the root cause. if anyone can help please help.

While I am not a doctor I cannot help but wonderfing if you have you gone to a GI doc? Sometimes that type of pain with the tummy issues can be a GI problem like Chrons or something

In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency to treat children as adults, and adults as children. The options of children are thus steadily expanded, while those of adults are progressively constricted. The result is unruly children and childish adults. ~Thomas Szasz

Have you had a laparoscopey?(sp) your never going to know whats going on in there without taking a peek. You could have endomitreosis(sp) I have had a severe case requiring multipal surgerys ending with a hysterectomy only to find out that you can still get it later.

I agree! A GI doctor may be able to help you with this type of issue. Also, pain killers can cause constipation and a stool softener or gentle laxative may help. Miralax and Colace work well for me! I hope things begin to resolve for you and your pain subsides soon.
