You are so loved, and our hearts are swelling with good wishes for you, and you're two precious little souls you are carrying.

We love you! wink May the good Lord severely Bless you in every way!

Thank you, friends, for all of the kind words... yeah You make me feel very special... I've met some amazing, hopefully life-long friends here in our little group.

I'm at 33 weeks now... I just got out of the hospital, after spending 9 days getting pumped full of meds to keep my blood pressure down and meds to deal w/ my pain issues. I'm home for a few days... but continue to go in 2x a week for monitoring and such. The plan is to deliver the babies between 34 and 36 weeks (max). The great news is that the girls look excellent and are over 4 pounds each now.

I'm still stressed about the actually surgery to have them and the pain afterwards. This will be my 7th abdominal surgery.... A big part of recovery, for me, is staying on top of the pain and not letting it get out of control. Anyway, I'm almost at the end now... and getting through the delivery/recovery is my next big hurdle....

Anyway, that's the "update" on things here. As soon as I enter the hospital to have the girls... I'll update here, or have someone update for me - depending on how things go. Any prayers are definitely appreciated for the girls' to have a safe entrance into the world :) I'll be posting pictures as soon as they get here!

SE/Michael - thanks, as always, my friend... for your thoughts and for starting this thread :)

Love to you all, Tina

Oh, one more thing - I'm so behind in posting.... welcome to all of the new members... I'm sorry for those of you, too, that are having a rough time right now :( I read all of the posts and think about you all; I just haven't had the energy to respond to everything....

Take care everyone.

((((((((((Mom)))))))))))))). Wow! You are so close! Making it through a normal pregnancy sounds extremely challenging (I say "sounds" because I have not yet had the pleasure to experience one of my own...maybe in 5 or 10 years....), but look at you and all you've had to endure! You are such a fighter, and so STRONG! I don't know too many other women who would have been able handle being pregnant while in so much pain, let along pregnant with twins! I absolutely admire your strength, courage, and determination. You go girl!

We're all rooting for you and your girls. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully everyone comes out of this healthy and happy.

hugs (for you and the little ones),

You are one strong person and I have to say that I am proud to have met you. So many times you have given me a boost when I needed it and a word of wisdom or a calming tone when that was the best.

I pray you and the girls an easy delivery and a healthy recovery period. I also pray the boys will give you and their little sisters all the love and support they have. I'm sure they love you so much and are a little nervous about having new little babies come home. Wow -- Your girls have so many big brothers to protect them and teach them in life. These are some really special babies and a really special mom (and dad).

All my best!

Hey Tina, so glad to hear the girls are doing so well! How exciting, you are getting so close. You are my idol, I have 5 kids but did not have any chronic pain issues at the time of my pregnancies. I can't imagine how tough it has been on you. You are one strong lady! You and your family continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Can't wait to hear when your little gifts arrive, Take care and keep posting so we all know how you are doing.

Hi everyone...

You all brightened my day w/ all of your kind words smilewinkgrin Thank you so much, all of you... and I appreciate the continued prayers!

When I found out I was expecting... and then there were two... w/ all my health issues, we weren't only shocked, but extremely fearful. I live in a city w/ tons of resources, and even the "high risk" docs here wouldn't touch me and even suggested I terminate the pregnancy.

It's funny how you find the strength to get through things in life. The last 8 months or so have been extremely difficult... but I'm finally at the end... and these girls have survived against all odds so I truly feel they are "meant to be".

I so much appreciate the encouragement and all the wonderful things you've said... but I truly feel that I'm not any stronger than the rest of us here... because each of us get up each day - and most of us face incredible challenges just to survive each day. I think we are ALL one group of incredibly strong people.

I will definitely keep you all posted on things here...! Much, much love to you all...--Tina

My heart is with you Mom, I only had 3 kids and can't contemplate 8 with chronic pain to boot! I wish you well for these last weeks. At least you'll have all those wonderful healing pregnancy hormones floating around in you helping you to heal from the surgery. Contemplating it is not good! But 2 beautiful girls will help you through it all too.
Best of luck dealing with these last weeks of pregnancy, we're with you in heart and thoughts, golitho

Good Morning Tina!

I thought I'd bump this up a bit to keep it fresh. I wanted to send you a special message because I'm pretty sure you'll be having those baby girls soon, and heaven knows you'll be *far* too busy to hang out with us! all seriousness, I want to wish you well, as I know these last few weeks and days must be the hardest for you. I am in complete awe of how you've managed to carry a twin pregnancy this far, while dealing with chronic pain, plus taking care of your family of 6 boys, and your hubby. You are amazing, fantastic, outstanding and wonderful and I wanted you to hear that as you reach the birthday of your babies.

Big (gentle) hugs to you're in my prayers

Pam... Ahhh, thank you :) Your words mean so much to me, my friend! I don't think I'll ever be too busy to hang out here, though.... I would miss all of you too much! I'm so thankful to have made some really wonderful friends here.

That being said, it's been a while since I've had a tiny one... I'm older now (advanced maternal age, as they say in the medical field!)... and I've never done two babies at once.... so we'll see how I feel next month at this time!! :) LOL

At most, I've got 18 days to go! I can't wait to share pics w/ you all... I'll have to figure out a good way to do that... Chutz, is that one site still up that we can post pics on??

Anyway, I love you all... thank you everyone that has given me encouragement here on the board.... sent me e-mails... listened to me complain and cry on the tough days....all of that. It's meant the world to me. While I hate having chronic pain, I AM thankful that it brought me here a couple of years ago and that I've met such wonderful friends; I consider you family.

I'll update more soon... --Tina

Yes, Tina.

Anyone who would like a place to post pictures to share is welcome to use this site. My hubby keeps it up and going. No fees, no advertising, just a clean and easy place to upload them.

The link is below. All you need to do is sign up by clicking the word 'Register' in the upper right hand corner. Bill, hubby, will email you a password and away you go. If you have any trouble figuring out how things work feel free to email him or you can email me and I'll pass word along.

ps...He said something about the system that notifies him that a new person has signed up isn't working right. So it helps if you can please email him once you've signed up. There's a place to do that...I think. Too late for thinking

Hugs and best wishes, Tina!

I can't believe your time is almost here. You have had my prayers for a while now, and those 2 lovelies will be here before you know it, happy and healthy. You are an inspiration every day as you care for your 6 boys, husband, and keeping yourself together during your pregnancy and pain You have helped me through many a dark moment with your posts and encouragements to everyone on the site. There are not enough words to describe the many wonderful things about good mothers, and you show them all daily to your family at home and your family here. :)

My prayers with be with you for a safe delivery, low pain levels, and low stress levels. Being a twin myself and mother of 2 boys 10 and a half months apart, I can see all the fun things ahead for you. I am thinking your boys will be great brothers too!
