Yet another night where I cannot get to sleep due to the severity of my pain. Level 8 and nervy. No meds work when it gets this bad. I just have to tough it out. I can take Flexeril to help me sleep (it does nothing for the actual pain) but I'll be tripping over hedges in the morning on my way to work. Catch-22. Story of my life. redface

Take the Flexeril earlier - 8PM at latest. I got some good muscle relief from it, but that's fibromyalgia pain. I just can't take it with my tramadol. The combo gave me serotonin syndrome.

Tramadol works for my muscle pain too, but I was always late getting my second pill at noon, so I'm trying out the 100mg extended release. It works for about 12 hours, and I am getting away with 2 a day. Bad days I sneek in an extra 50mg instant release.

You can get sleepy with just Benadryl. It only lasts about 4 hours for me though. I prefer the smallest diazepam, but that's a muscle relaxer too and lasts only 4 hours. It's good in the middle of the night like now.

Well, just don't feel alone on "Flight Catch-22"! It doesn't matter what I take at this point in the morning, it simply won't work for the pain I am in. It is so frustating and as a person who deals with migraines, the lack of sleep will bring on some powerful headaches. Take care and know there are others awake with you.
