Cat, I am sending you a hug and lots of good thoughts. I am so sorry your doctor has told you there's nothing she can do for you...but that doesn't mean the end. Once you've had time to grieve, I hope you'll regain that fire to find a treatment that works for you. I hope we can help you do that.

I know what it's like to hide away from the world but I'm glad you came out for a moment to let us know how you're doing. I will continue to keep you in my prayers, and if there is anything else I can help with, I'd be glad to.

Oh Cat, cry   cry
I'm just tentively stepping out for the first time in months. For some reason, when we get overwhelmed, we then turn everything inward. At least that's what I do.  I was off HW for quite a while because it was just another thing that was just too big for me. Not the reading other's updates, but I couldn't write a thng.
I can't say, "Everything is going to be all right!" but, I can say, "Cat, you are loved and we are overjoyed to hear from you." Please keep writing as it really is a great way to get over the deep, dark bottom of the heart that we don't want to talk about. I'm on your side as are all the other members here at your home, HW.

Dear Cat,

Goodness *hugg* Please don't isolate yourself for too long. Take time to actively find ways to re charge your "inner you" batteries. It will help to pull you out of the dark times.  I have recently had a hard time the last 2 weeks myself. The "inner me" is exhausted and plain fed up.

I want you to know something. We know how hard things can get here. I want you to know that we want to hear from you even if you are mad, sad, happy or crazy eyed. We care and we truly understand. That is what friends are for. You mean a lot to all of us here. We want to know how you are doing.

   *warm hugg*

thanks all. I'm just "stuck" and don't even know what to think anymore. Its been 10 years and 15 doctors and now this last one has referred me another 'expert". Just tired of getting my hopes up. Its just too much already...too too much

Hi Cat, we all go through the low patches. I got stuck in one for a few months this year too. Sometimes CP is just soo overwhelming. The depression of going nowhere or going round in circles can be really debilitating.
But we are all here for you, you're not alone, don't let those horrible practitioners keep you down for long.

Can you see a pschologist for awhile? Sometimes its good to just download all the grief and get it all off your chest. But we're here too, we're good at listening. Please don't feel alone. Skeye always told me to take an hour at a time if thats the only way to cope and you know, she's right. Sometimes we just have to cope hour by hour to get through.

Thinking of you big time, golitho

Hi Cat,

Good to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been doing well. It's not easy to be told that there is nothing more to be done. But please don't give up hope. You may be out of options at the moment, but science and medicine is always evolving, and hopefully down the line, there will be more options for you. In the mean time, hang in there & vent to us any time you need to!
