Was having a great day yesterday!!!
Pain was at a low level. The epidural definitely was giving me some relief. Yesterday at work having a very productive day. Well.....Just walking and fell (over a very small, almost pebble) Well I hit the ground very hard on my left hip. Did not feel any pain increase. Came home and put ice on my back right away. I started to feel small spasms in my right leg and foot early evening, by the middle of the night the pain increased. Pain is shooting down right leg. Gosh darn it....can I not catch a break!!!!

Getting ready for work this morning in terrible pain thinking I was going to work??? What is wrong with me? My husband is upset right now. Not that I hurt myself, but that I actually thought I was leaving the house. But that is what I have been doing for months now...pushing myself everyday. Well wake up call, better just slow down.

Any way, No way I am going to work today. I drive most of the day checking on properties and crews, won't be very smart of safe.

Oh, I'm so sorry!!!

I'm glad hubby was there to convince you to take it easy for a day or two. It's time to rest!

I hope you feel better soon!

   Good morning Hydrangea!

I must confess that I too!.... fell a few weeks ago. Putting on a pair of underware.  With a stiff and sore back, it is not easy to do early in the morning. I got one leg in, but caught my big toe in the other hole, and the next thing you know...I was dancing a jig for a few seconds! smilewinkgrin

To top it all off and add insult to wife raised up out of bed to see what all the comotion was all about, only to find me on all fours with my underware around my ankles....she said "I'm not even going to ask".....and flopped back into her pillow! smilewinkgrin

It was a pretty scary thing, and I really was afraid to move, for fear that I had injured my back. However, all was well.....except for my pride. wink

Hope you get to feeling better, and please watch your step, and I will mine. wink

Praying there is no lasting damage Hydrangea...keep us posted.

I got my foot tangled up in some computer cords the other day...just managed to grab the edge of the couch to help cushion the fall. Nothing hurt but my pride, but my heart didn't stop pounding for a bit.

Hydrangea had to go in and edit one word in your post. In keeping with the forum rules we do have to keep our posts clean not knowing the ages of of people reading these posts as it is a public forum.

Well, one thing I do know gal, is with an operated back the word small no longer exists, its either a big deal or worse. I am so sorry that you fell and I hope its just a pulled muscle something that will heal. Lets hope all goes well with the neuro. Good for hubby insisting you stay home, he is right you know. Had you gone to work and done all that sitting you would have made this whole thing a lot worse by irritating the heck out of it. Rest, rest and be kind to your body the next few days. This will be hard for you because you are what I call a full throttle person, lol. That's ok, I am too and I always pay for it.

Let us know how it goes at the dr.
