Sunday Koffee Klatch
If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea   We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed...  turn    So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.
Daily Question:
I am constantly amazed at how long my family can sleep in on Sundays. My husband will literally sleep all day if he can get away with it. My daughters don't bother to wake up until their tummies are rumbling at 10:30. I of course am always up early and waiting on them to get up. Which brings me to todays question.
Do you sleep in late on the weekends?

And sorry I could not travel both

Years ago I could sleep until 12, but I got my Cpap and am sleeping more solid.

Now, I usually wake up around 7:30 or 8:00. Today I was still sleepy so I crawled back into the bed and slept another hour.

I almost never sleep late...but I did fall asleep in the recliner this afternoon for a quick snooze...of course, I could have been expecially tired because I had two giggling 10 year old girls having a sleepover last night and my dear hubby went to the lake to stay in the camper.

It was really fun to watch the girls interact and enjoy life and well worth having to take a quick nap this afternoon.

I do on Sunday, if my pain lets me & if I don't have anything that I have to do in the AM. More & more I have been sleeping the whole day away on Sundays -- a combination of sheer exhaustion from not sleeping during the week (thanks to pain, usually get about 3-5 hrs sleep or less/night), as well as depression. I hate doing it, but I can't seem to function, even if I want it. It's like my body just shuts down. I don't know how to stop it. It's incredibly frustrating.

Saturdays I work, and I have to be at work by 7:30 am, so I'm usually up at 6:30 am.
