Hey everyone, i have missed you all so much!!

An update on how im doing,

Still in a lot of pain and not too mobile yet which isn't much fun at the moment because the weather here is just amazing! sunny and 30 degrees! But have been doing everything I can to get better and find out whats going on, so far what we have been told is,

The reason the pain is so much worse and i have been so sick and feeling so tired and awful is because i have had e coli for about a year now but when i told the doctors i didn't feel right or i felt sick and worse than normal they would tell me its just from all the pain its making you feel like that, and basically told me to toughen up! mum and i still figured there was something else going on so we got a second opinion but 6 months after i had started feeling like that.. the doctors have now told us that i have e coli, but because it was left untreated and it was the more agressive one, so its spread out of my intestines and into my urinary system and blood stream.. at the moment this isn't live threatning or a huge issue, apart from making me feel like crap so i just have to be monitored closely and taking antibiotics to try and get rid of it and make sure i don't get septic shock or whatever it is!!, and if that doesn't work or it spreads they will give us more treatment options. so thats the reason i have been so sick and dehydrated and just feeling awful, fingers crossed it fixes up soon! i'm also off gluten, wheat, dairy, sugar and all grains and proccessed food to give my body more fight! :)

as for the original pain.. my lymphnodes are really swollen at the moment and they think it could be all linked to that and now somethings finally showing up, as my most recent blood results the white cell count was high i think he said, so got more testing happening soon! hoping for answers, fingers crossed they will be the ones i want to hear!

Also with my breathing, it was the SVT's that were causing it which is a heart condition i have had since i was 8 and has never bothered me much but i have been having attacks pretty much daily and they have caused scar tissue around my heart, its up to me if i want that removed and want surgery to correct the pathways, and seeing as so much else is going on i have chosen to leave that!

I hope you are all doing well

I have missed this place, and will hopefully catch up on everything soon!!

So glad to hear from you my sweet little Buttercup. What is your real name hon?
Gosh you have been thru so much but I am glad they have found out it is e coli in your system. Wow!! So it's been there for a while eh. I was wondering if you should be in the hospital and getting IV antibiotics and Iv solution to hydrate you. Also it seems that you need a close watch as well with the ecoli in your blood, you could become toxic quickly if this has been in your system, and also to watch your SVT's. I would get an opinion from a cardiologist about this getting fixed you don't want to damage your heart as you are so young. Is there a children's hospital where you live that you could be admitted to? Where do you live?
Will they let you take anything for the pain right now or are you only taking antibiotics?
Just want you to know I care about what is happening to you. Seems strange that this ecoli was missed long ago. There should be info you can read if you google e coli? Was it  0157 H7 that you have? hmmmm i can't remember the number, but anyways this is nothing to fool around with.
I am praying for you honey. Please come back soon to tell me how you are doing ok. When do you see the dr. again? I really think your case warrants being in the hospital. Too many compllications possible and e coli is a serious bacteria!! I don't mean to scare you but at least keep seeing your doctor regularly ok.
Love you

One day at a time!!

I am so glad you have an answer! I hope that you do take care of yourself. It is very important as Mikel and Suzane have said to take care of yourself now, because E coli is a very serious bacteria. Now would be a good time to try any sort of fruit or vegetable you have ever wanted to or wondered about!

I hope you feel better soon. You deserve some stress free relaxing time all to yourself!

I hope they are watching your kidneys. My brother got ecoli and it messed up his kidneys.
Get well soon.
