Hi family!

I needed to touch base with my wonderful family here at Healing Well. I've been absent for a while due to family needs. Daughter in now 7 months pregnant and has been on bed rest for the last 4 weeks due to premature labor. That has left hubby and I in charge of kids a lot of the time. I dearly love having them but it does exhaust me totally and doesn't leave me time or energy for anything else. BUT...you, my family, are vitally important to me and I've left you out of my life way too much lately.

As an update for those who know about 'Daughter', since she's a HW member also(fibro).... she was given steroid shots over the past 2 days. Problem was the baby's activity decreased to almost nothing. So after doing 'kick counts' last evening she went back to the ER. Baby is just in there playing opossum! Heart rate if fine, no cord problems, oxygen levels OK so we all began breathing again after getting that report. I told her many months ago when she found it was going to be a girl that raising a girl means 'trouble'...lol smilewinkgrin (I raised one girl and 2 boys) But this little girl is trouble before she even enters the world! tongue

We WILL survive this and I will get back to regular duties and participation soon...or whenever that young lady decides to stop messing with us. wink Technically we have about 8 weeks til term but there's a good chance she'll be here early. She probably afraid to come out now because there's a lineup of adults ready to put her in Time Out! nono smilewinkgrin

I'll try to keep in touch more often...I miss daily visits more than I can explain!
Love you guys...

I'm so excited for you and your family. I know things are hard right now, but I can imagine you will be even closer to the children after this experience.

I pray blessings on your wonderful daughter and her bundle of joy!

My prayers are with you, your daughter and your granddaughter.  May everything go smoothly and the birth be smooth and happy.
We miss you here, but all of us understand where your priorities are and we support you all the way.  I know I speak for everyone, that we await the good news of the birth and to hear that everyone is happy and rejoicing over the new little one's arrival.
God bless and stay healthy.  Try to get adequate rest if at all possible with little ones to take care of.  Easier said than done, right?  Well, try.

It's good to hear from you Chutz. I'm so happy your daughter is doing well with the bedrest...I can't imagine how stressful things would be for her if you weren't there to help out.

I hope that you make sure to take care of you as well. As you said, it can be exhausting, so make sure you don't run yourself into the ground, okay?

I hope that all goes well for the Wee Miss you're waiting for...thanks for keeping us posted.
