Monday Koffee Klatch

If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea   We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed...  turn    So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.

Daily Question:

Are you a morning person? Afternoon? A night owl?

What is the most productive time of day for you?

I'm up very early. I guess I'm a morning person. Before I had pain, I was a night owl. Now, I'm up by 4:00 on many mornings. Maybe I'm a night owl still though because I am up a few times a night:)

The most productive time of day for me is the afternoon. It's when I'm feeling the best! I love to get things done in the middle of the day. If it's a Saturday, I like to start shopping around 12:00 and finish around 3:00.

Before my issues I was a morning person all the way. Single mom who got the kids ready, clean and fed, walked the dogs, picked up a little, and off to a full-time job. I am still a morning person, but with arthritis and other things, mornings are not as productive as they were before. I get the most done in the morning from 9 to around 12. That also depends on the day!

Mornings used to be my time to shine, but now...mid day is the best....after everything has kicked in and before it has gotten really bad again. Strange how CP changes things :)

I do my best at night, so I guess I'm a night owl...I hate waking up early and
only wake up early to do laundry, as here in Texas the cold water is pre dawn..

I'm with Flower on this one. I am a morning person. I am up around 4am. I take my meds and drink coffee till 4:45 so all the meds are kicking in and I am a little more awake. Then begin making breakfast... As the morning progresses I get through chores and tasks / errands as quickly as possible because by 12 I start to go down hill. By 1pm I am beat. So, that is when I sit and make jewelry / drink afternoon coffee. Then I am up again by 3:45 and prep for supper / evening transition.

Well my cats generally start walkin' on me to get me up to feed them around 6am , so I get up and do that then go back to sleep unless I have an appt. I'd say after I shower and really wake up between 10am and 6pm I'm tryin' to keep busy excercising , studying , playin' guitar or painting sometimes . Its just so hard to get going some mornings but once I'm up , I try to keep on the go doing something , this week it'll be Motor Vehicles stuff to get my liscense cleared . Mikel

Always used to be a morning person, but the last 5/6 yrs I've been turning into a night person.
