I like the name it is very befitting of you! Yes you certainly are challenged! But have faith you have a bunch of new friends here that will cheer you on, and try to help you, and most certainly will support you, and definitely listen and lend you our ears! You are definitely not alone, and I might add that there are quite a few of us nurses here on the forum too! Admittly I have been out practice for awhile, as I am on disability! But you can take the person out of nursing,.... but you can not take the nurse out of the person! At least that is how I feel about
it! My youngest daughter is just a little bit younger than you, and she is also a nurse! May I ask You? Are you still able to work at with your condition? I don't mean to pry but how bad was your stroke, I know that Lupus alone can be a heck of a challenge! I admire you for going back to school to get your Masters! Never give that up! Follow your dreams! There may be obstacles in your path, and a few detours along the way, and it might take you longer to achieve your goals, or you might even change your goals, but alway keep faith, and have hope, and who know what the future might bring!
Challenged nurse I am really sorry for all that you have been through, and the challenges that you have yet to face, but I really am happy that you came here to our forum, and I do hope you stick around we really do have a really great group of people here! I think some of the most caring and compassionate people that you will find anywhere on the internet! So You at least have another forum to come to, and share with us your burdens, as we will gladly help you in anyway we can to lighten them!
Again I say Wecome to our family! I do wish YOU all the BEST!!
