Has anyone taken fish oil for inflamation?

A few days ago I started taking fish oil for my cholesterol and my back pains have gradually lessen. tongue
I'm hoping there's a connection to lower pain levels and the fish oil. yeah
Edit:
I just found this article:
The ability of fish oil to reduce inflammation is not only good for preventing serious illnesses, such as heart disease and cancer. Fish oil is also effective in reducing the symptoms and pain of arthritis. Morning stiffness and joint tenderness was shown to decrease with regular intake of fish oil supplements. Fish oil does not act as a painkiller, and it takes regular use before a difference is noticed. However, fish oil is a viable, natural way to reduce the pain and symptoms associated with arthritis if one is dedicated to the long term outcome rather than focused on immediate cessation of symptoms.
  yeah yeah yeah yeah
I'm also taking vitamin D because it says it helps your bones.

I don't tolerate any of the fish oil formulations I've tried, suspect sulfite, but have no proof. I do tolerate a small krill oil gelcap.

I've had some relief with D, 2000 units twice a day if I don't get out in the sun.

Update!
My therapist said yes the fish oil is good for arthritis and you have arthritis.
So I'm going to keep taking it. :)
During the workout today I was able to do so much more. :)
I still had my spasm sitting up from the table, but it was not as bad. :)
