Saturday Koffee Klatch
If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea   We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed...  turn    So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.
Daily Question:
Do something just for You. Something small or large that makes the "inside you" feel better. Once you have done so, come back here tonight and post what you did.

Well today I took my 5-hour class to get my drivers license again , I haven't had it since 1987 ! I owed tickets that I've paid off , had to get a birth certificate , my learners permit and now I stand a road test away  from having my license again , its a big deal for me . To state a goal and follow it thru despite frustration and aggravation and persevere , I would have quit and continued to drive without a license . So it feels good to get this done , to take responsibility and clean up an old mistake , enduring the nonsense made it more satisfying . So watch out NyC , I'll be back on the road soon ! Thanks Dani

I took a "me day". I did what I wanted to do and just forgot everything else. I woke up deciding today was all about me. I pampered myself, took a restful nap, and started looking at my Halloween costume to see what needs to done to prep for wearing it.
I feel very rested.

Last night I went to a the show, seen Hereafter, it has been awhile since I went to the show, but I just had to get out of the house for a while. Then to day I went out in the garage and started sorting through stuff ( my tools and all that) the garage has been a real mess for quite some time, and I just keep saying I am going to clean it up but then don't! I keep the house pretty neat and clean but I have really let the garage go to pot. Anyway I spent about five hours working on it, with a couple half hour breaks. I haven't got it all done yet but I have a good start on it. I hurt from doing it, but it is a good hurt! because I feel good about finally getting a start on getting it clean, I will continue with doing it till I am done. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but, but it kind of is to me, because I really have a hard time doing stuff anymore!
