getting the right meds and trying to get some sleep can be tricky combo to
find sometimes it's hit and miss on the medicines, and sometimes other things
are called for, a lot of us here (CP Forum) also see a pain management psychologist
to help us build relaxation techniques, so that we can sleep, so maybe look into getting
some relaxations cd's, you might have to try out a few, sometimes we use supplements
just make sure your doctor knows about all supplements she's taking as well as meds,
Melatonin 1 mg is what Dr. Oz mentioned for people to try.
I'm just guessing as you we're kinda vague (is it she needs sleep or is sleeping too much?)
I answered for she needs sleep...Others will be by with better answers.
All my best wishes and prayers for your Daughter.

Hi Sunshine and Welcome!

I'm sorry your daughter is suffering so much. But she's lucky to have a special mom who will pitch in and help find some relief.

One thing you might consider is a pain psychologist. Yep, it might sound strange but there are doctors who specialize in treating the emotional side of chronic pain. Many members of Healing Well have taken advantage of these services and it's it's made a huge, positive difference and for some it literally saved their lives.

I do hope she gets some relief soon!
