If you have chronic laryngitis or feeling of something stuck in throat or post-nasal drip (extra-esophageal or out of esophagus symptoms), these may be helped with using Nexium or other PPIs, according to a study that came up today.
You probably have to have a password to get into this website, but you could take the link to your doctor and he can view it.
The gist of the article was that new studies have been done that show that some people who have SILENT GERD (no usual reflux symptoms) are helped with PPIs.
Healthcare persons - doctors, nurses, other healthcare workers - can get a free account and password for Medscape News.  I don't know if others can view these articles.
